Unfortunately my cellphone was injured in the first snowfall rendering my camera useless. However, I will tell you... beginning about 4 PM on Dec. 21, Mill City was hit by ice pellets then heavy snow accumulating 1 3/4 inches in an hour. At one point it was a near "whiteout". We are located about 40 miles SE of Salem on HWY 22. Detroit Lake is 20 miles East.
