Where have all the birdies gone

Dreaming of a White Christmas

Last week before the snow fell, I would have died and gone to heaven If I could be in a log cabin in the middle of the forest, cuddled on the couch wrapped in a warm Pendleton blanket in front of a large picture window. I could smell the wood fire burning. The large picture windows would frame the most beautiful picture in the world....Mt Hood in the background and white snow piled on the evergreen branches until they bent over backwards making my wish come true-they say watch what you wish for--it may come true. Although I never left my drive way, my dream is alive and well. The road in front of our home is usually noisy but this week there is no traffic. THere are no cars going by. In fact, it is so quiet, I can hear the snow fall. The geese went by in formation and honked.....Absolutely Priceless
