weather snow fun

Ever since it started snowing last week, our family here in Gresham have been getting nothing but snow! My friends and I all did our own little 'snow dance' for school to get out early...and well...we got this.

Outside in the backyard, we have about close to two to three feet of snow, and no walkway from our door. Our decorations outside are covered, and our poor inflatable snow globes taken a beat down looking like nothing but a giant snow mound after being coated with layers of snow and ice.

Our main entrance to our house is snowed in by about two feet, and our only pathway to and from the house is through the garage (if you don't slip on the concrete coming in from the snow).

Fresh on the roof of my mom's car is about 6-9 inches of accumulated snow, and our front lawn has probably a good foot and a half. My parents keep telling me that I did my 'snow dance' too many times, because we're stuck in this weather. What's worse, is that my dad's sick and needs to go to the hospital for treatment, but with no access to emergency transportation, all he can do is lay either in bed or on the couch while we wait for roads to get cleared.

I've seen quite a few snow storms through the 2000 years, but I must say that out of them all, this one has to be the worst. This is the last time I do my 'snow dance' when it snows.
