The dogs are loving it, even if it's up to their bellies. We walked downtown Newberg and there are people out, Thriftway is open, cars with chains are driving, slowly. The roads are packed down snow, everywhere else is deep, deep, deep. The 100 ft fir trees behind us are dropping big heavy ice and snow laden branches, one crushed the roof of my shed, one dented the house gutter and bounced off. I just hope the whole tree doesn't come down, or we don't get a branch through the garage roof. We've seen people on 4-wheelers going by and someone on a tractor. A woman made it to Thriftway on cross country skiis. It's all very beautiful though.
Beautiful but deep snow in Newberg
