High snow drifts around the house

Stuck in Bridal Veil with Six Grandkids

Last Friday my sister's four children (ages 8, 6, 4, and 2) came over to our house to have a day with Grandma, Grandpa and their two aunts (My other sister and I). As I'm sure you all know by now I-84 was closed Saturday afternoon. My sister wasn't able to come get her kids before then so we had those four kids staying with us. Then My brother who lives next door decided yesterday that he and his wife were going to brave the snow and drive into town to get food and supplies for everyone. Since my mother has lived out here for almost 20 years they thought that they could get back if they let ODOT know they had two kids here (ages 3 and 1). ODOT didn't let them. So now our house has six grandchildren from the ages 1 to 8, Grandma and Grandpa, my sister and I, two dogs and two puppies all living in our little three bedroom, one bathroom house. Luckly we have enough food to last us a week and a fireplace with lots of wood to keep us all warm! If the power goes out though it won't be good. We're all hoping that the weather starts getting better and the interstate opens up again.
