I understand why we are on our own up here in the Columbia River Gorge. Nobody can get any further upriver. We've been surviving just fine with a lot more snow and wind than anybody else has seen. The snow in my yard in Carson is up to about three feet. We're likely to get more before this storm is done. As long as it's not freezing rain.....
