My husband and I and our 3 kids live in Troutdale. I grew up here so I am pretty used to the crazy weather, so close to the gorge. However we were shocked by the quadro-storm that, combined, blew in over 2 feet of snow with drifts taller than me. I used to dream of this happening as a kid, but now as an adult with kids of my own . . . well, I could do without the amount of snow . . . which bought us and extra week out of school and is great for making the kids crazy and me along with them. From Friday until this afternoon I think is only stopped snowing just long enough for us to get our hopes up that it was done- almost non-stop! The picture doesn't do it justice!
