On Sunday evening the ground began to shake and the window's rattled and a loud cracking noise came from outside. In just moments I watched a large tree from the green space behind our home come crashing down on our house. I feared it might come through our roof onto me and the baby, but as the ice coated branches hit the roof, they broke off and landed on to the back deck. We are grateful to be safe and warm. There are no windows broken and there appears to be minimal damage to our home. The deck and fence can be fixed.
Sunday Night, while feeding our 3 month old baby I watched this tree come inches from coming into our family room.
