Portland Media Promotes Metro Freakout

The only story is the hysterical reaction of the Portland media to a below-average snowstorm. The echo chamber effect is to promote fear.

I have lived in Pennsylvania, Indiana and Colorado. You cannot imagine (obviously) how silly you look as you natter on interminably able a bit of snow.

This is a very below-average winter event. There is nothing unusual going on here. The only extraordinary factor is the obsurd frenzy that stations like KATU display with going wall-to-wall FOR DAYS over a snowstorm...proving there really is no reason to watch Portland television news.

There are a lot of people in Portland/Vancouver from snow country. Perhaps we could organize some coping workshops for you local snow yokels.
