Ventured up to our place at Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway last Thursday and thought we would stay until this week. When we arrived at the lake we could not believe the snow and conditions. We got lucky and could get to our place, pushing snow with our vehicle al the way from the main road. I spent the rest of the day Thursday and into the evening shoveling snow of the trailer and deck. The picture of me shoveling snow shows the thermometer to the right at about 20 degrees. My family was stuck in the car until I could dig a path from the road to our place. I had to park on the road for the evening and we heard that the storms coming in would be much worse than originally predicted so we got up on Friday and headed home. Thank you for your on-line service that I watch daily it helped me make the right decision to head home and not stay. If we had we would definitely been snowed in through the Holidays and maybe longer. Happy Holidays to KATU and your families.
Best Regard,
Kenneth Murray
