Icy welcome to Oregon

We just moved to ORegon and being an ex-Alaskan I thought snow would not bother me as I had experienced all the colors of it. But the moment I came out from my house I was shocked and even slipped thrice on the big ice sheets (unlike Alaska). And then it took me about an hour to remove snow and ice sheets from my car. If that was not enough even the roads were icy and scary. It was definately an interesting welcome for us in Oregon.
