This is our back yard in Mac, haven't seen this much snow since 1972 at the top of High Heaven Rd where we lived.

McMinnville is not ready for this stuff.

There are those of us who seen more snow than this. I don't mind the snow but only to go visit and play in it if I want. It was fun the first few days but I am certainly ready for it to be gone. I had no trouble with driving in it at first even without studs or chains but now that its gotten to be frozen slush, its become a real hazard and for those people who don't know how to drive in it or don't have traction devices, it can cause alot of problems for them as well as us. I work a well known place towards the coast and though 99W may be clear as well as HWY 18, getting out of your driveway and up the sidestreets is not worth hurting myself or my car for. Good luck with getting anywhere in McMinnville if its not a main highway or well used road.
