With over a foot of snow on the ground Grandma's birds were cold and hungry. So hungry they didn't think twice about hopping on a Grandson Ian's seed covered hand to eat. The little bird stayed there after Ian walked from under the apple tree to the back porch for another 5 minutes. The bird eventually was helped off his hand but stayed on a small pile of seed.
