Uhaul in Tigard Oregon, on Barbur Blvd indicated that chains will be required to pick up our truck to move tomorrow. Unfortunately, they will not be supplying chains. They do not even have chains for rent or for sale. This seems like a note worthy story that someone should follow up on.

I remember working for U-Haul years ago. At that time, if one office didn't have a piece of equipment needed, we would locate an office that did and make the transfer. Customer service must be going by the wayside as the economy fails.

This is a note worthy story? Sorry it just sounds like a poor business practice to me. It sounds like it caused you some grief, hopefully your landlord could understand the weather was out of your control and cut you some slack.
