There can be as many as six deer feeding in our yard, especially in the summer. I noticed this lone deer while watching the 12:00 news and ran upstairs to get my camera. Some of the small herd may have been lost due to hunting. I live just north of the Lewis River. The photo of the deer was taken on December 30 about noon and the photo of the falls was taken about two weeks ago.
