NEAR MOSIER, Ore. - It's the ultimate waterfall fail.
Along the old Highway 30 near Rowena Crest east of Hood River, water sprays upwards from a canyon alongside the road.
A small stream attempts to plunge from a cliff at Rowena Plateau, but it plunges only a few feet.
Instead, strong winds blows the waterfall back onto the roadway.
This phenomenon also got the attention of other motorists passing by.
