Shady Dell Rd. in Molalla Flooding

Overnight began with a windstorm, pelting rain, and then sometime around 2:00 am an odd quiet. After a 2:30 am status check phone call from the Clackamas County EOC, we found around 2 inches of snow had fallen and the river was beginning to threaten homes. By 4:30 am there were about 4 homes that had flood waters beginning to surround them. By 6:00 am the water had crossed Shady Dell Rd. and had begun to fill the low lands. This is the same pattern in years past. At this point 8:00 am we have been told that it should have reached its crest and will begin to subside. All residents affected were allerted to these events and are safely accounted for.
