My husband and I visited our old neighborhood on McMinn Rd., in the Twin Islands/Paradise community on Jan. 1. Our last visit was in 2000. We noticed sides of Heiple Rd. area down to the community had been logged off...reason for mudslide perhaps?

Red Cross is bringing supplies to this area. Both communities are on the Clackamas river, where a flood warning is in effect.
