This heavy branch, actually 3 branches, broke and fell during the night, narrowly missing the house. It did catch the leading edge of the deck, but caused very minor damage. It also took down the phone line, but did not cause a loss of service. The only real damage was to a patio table, canopy frame, childs wading pool and 1 2X4 on the top part of the deck. Estimated damage was only $250. It could have been much worse. It completely missed the house.
