I am posting this more as a way to find out if there was anything in the news about a plane having to return to the airport. This plane was heading South over Salem at 3:40 pm on Monday the 26th. of Jan. 2009 and then (as you can see) the plane turned around and headed North.

If it was planning on landing at Salem and for some reason wasn't ready it would enter a holding pattern. PDX could have been having it fly a "hold" over the Salem "VOR" to ensure proper sequencing when it arrived. And "Chemtrails"? Get a life people

It looks like it is just halfway through making a normal holding pattern, probably for spacing on its way to PDX or SEA.

If its not a military training flight then it might be a Boeing test flight coming from Seattle...spraying chemicals in the air...

We all saw that at work. It wasn't just a U-Turn, the plane actually did a circle then headed north again. No one saw the plane but someone there got a picture of it on their cell phone. Very Weird.

Look up Contrails and Chemtrails online. There are many pictures of things like this when they are spraying whatever it is that they have been heavily spraying in the air! That was no commercial flight.

You can see the contrail (partially obscured by the sun wash) making a U-turn.
