This happened around 9:00 am this morning. I did not see the accident but just live half a block from the scene. It looked like the person in the vehicle was crossing the intersection & go hit by the school bus. Rescue had to cut the car apart to get the person out. The bus driver should get fire because putting and danger the kids. The bus driver is the person that are responsible for the kids while they are going to school and the teacher are responsible for the kids when they are in school.

This is an opion from a mother that her kid takes the school bus to school and this is one of the major reason that the school bus shoul have their seat belt, so we as the parent can be with no worries that anything can happen to their kids

The bus was my school bus.. The driver of the bus is fine now and is back on our route. I haven't heard anything about the driver of the other car. From what I've heard, the car ran a red light and hit the bus.

The car was totaled and I heard the driver is not doing to well. The bus was totaled too. The impact was so great that the back bumper on the bus was pushed back from the body about an inch.

Actually, the accident happened closer to 8:30am. The car driver was cited for not obeying a traffic control device. Apparently the car driver tried to beat the bus. The bus driver was pretty shook up, the car driver had to be cut from his car.

I didnt see the accident either but I drove by not too long after it happend. The car was almost smashed flat inbetween the pole and the bus. It was a crazy sight to see!
