The Multnomah Youth Commission and Voice Box Media want youth to come up with solutions to climate change as part of the Regional Innovation Forum happening at the Expo Center on Saturday, March 28th. In an age of constant marketing messages these youth needed a way to get their peers attention. They decided to stage penguin attacks at two local schools and then inform the crowds that gathered about how they could attend the forum and help create an action plan for our region on addressing the climate crisis. No birds were harmed at these publicity events but local youth were informed and directed to register online at http://tinyurl.com/RIFpenguin Youth get in free if they enter the code pdxcatalyst2009
