COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE, Ore.—A sports utility vehicle roll over on a Columbia River Gorge highway Sunday afternoon briefly snarls weekend and spring break traffic.

The rollover incident happened on the Interstate 84 eastbound lanes at the Eagle Creek exit near milepost 41 west of Cascade Locks.

Information on the driver’s condition, the seriousness of the injuries and the number of occupants inside the vehicle are not known at this time. The cause of the crash is not known, but is under investigation.

Update: The Family in that SUV all were treated and released with minor scratches and bumps! it could have been so much worse for them! My daughter had a hairline fracture in her rib, and my car took a beating. But we are Thankful everyone is OK!

My son's good friend was in another car that was hit when this SUV flipped. Still no word on what happened, but we came through the area a few hours prior and the wind and hail/rain was horrible.

Speed limit is 65 MPH. One photo I have that didn't make the cut here shows a large fast-food take out bag and food packaging spilling out the driver side window after flipping upright. Distracted driving could be a possibility, but not confirmed.

This one of the reason that you have to drive on the speed limit just do it for your life safety even if you don't care about others that are on the road at least care for your self and the one that are in the car with you .
