My husband is set to deploy with the US Army 41st btn to Iraq and my son is set to deploy to Afghanistan with the US Marine Corp 3rd btn.

I wish them both the best. I pray for their safe return. I am sure that you are very proud of them. I hope that you have a strong support system. I have a son who is in the National Guard here in Oregon. You have my support.

Outstanding!!! Keep your eyes open and constantly scanning, be safe. My wife is in Afghanistan on her 2nd tour. My son in Iraq on his 2nd tour. My daughter is in Korea with the Air Force. I retired from the Army in 2000, after 20 years.

I have been thinking about this deployment especially since it is such a huge one. My son had volunteered but then couldn't go because of a medical issue. I realize that the ceremonies are this weekend. I wish each and every soldier a safe return.
