Expecting the Lady Washington to be in Astoria on Sunday, we were disappointed to find that she was still in Crescent City, CA.She has tried 3 times to leave but had to turn back each time due to storms. As we left Astoria and were crossing the bridge to Warrenton we saw the Hawaiian Chieftan coming into the mouth of the Columbia. After a quick u-turn we were able to get some beautiful photos of her as she crossed under the Astoria Bridge.

I think that both boats are in Hood River this weekend. You can check them out and watch the "battle sail" at 2pm each day. They will be shooting their cannons and doing different things with the boats
