I love the rain, the wind and the variety of weather that both Washington and Oregon is famous for, but visiting the coast in the fog can be somewhat disappointing for all of the obvious reasons.
That is what I thought until I got home and discovered that not all of the spots on the pictures of North Head Lighthouse were raindrops. What a pleasant surprise to see one spot a sunspot.
