Swine Flu Connected with U of O Campus

This afternoon, the University of Oregon announced that the first official case of swine flu in Oregon has been identified within Eugene. A boy that attended the Moss Street Children's Center on the U of O campus has been diagnosed with the H1N1 influenza virus. While the university plans to keep all facilities operational, the university advises all students and faculty to take additional precautions. The U of O is currently monitoring this situation with the Lane County Public Health Department.
