Here's Eli and his friend Emi with the six trout they caught last Saturday, May 1, at Vernonia Pond. There were lots of kids braving the wind and rain that day to take part in the ODFW’s Youth Angling Enhancement Program event (we caught a glimpse of sun just long enough for a good photo). A big thanks to all the organizers for a fun day for all!
