Sometimes what we want in life, never happens. I always wanted my family to be safe and protect them from everything I had power to protect over. My brother Alexander James Miller voluntarily chose a different road in life. He chose to put his life on the line for me.....and for you and for your neighbor and for your friend across the country. That's who my brother is protecting. Alex was deployed on May 2, 2009. My brother Timothy Miller wrote something about his deployment that I respect and I now live by. I am so blessed and honored two amazing brothers to speak for my country.
I stand proud today and am truly honored to be able to pay tribute and show my strong support for our men and women in uniform. I feel proud in my heart and am grateful for the sacrifice that my younger brother is making to serve our country and protect us here at home. I am aware of the consequences and sacrifices of war and am reminded that war is not a battle of flesh and bone but ultimately a battle over good and evil for souls of men. I urge to you pause for a moment and reflect upon the freedoms that we have today and pray for God's hand of protection for our men and women who serve our country. I also encourage you to continue to support our troops by flying our flag proudly in front of your home, speak up when someone spews disrespect about our military and continue thanking the men and women for there service when they return home. It is because of their selfless devotion to duty, their sacrifices and their courage that we are able to live in freedom. My brother along with all the other men and women deserve a heroes welcome when they return home from foreign soils so join me in our efforts to show support for our troops. Most of all God bless our military forces and God bless America!
