On may 14th 2009 Barclay raised my intrest rate by 5% and mailed a letter the same day. I recieved the letter on may 21st 2009 so I called them on may 22nd 2009 to ask what happend. They told me that they periodically check accounts and dicovered my (high balance of $2500.00) so the decided to raise my intrest rate from 8.99% to 14.99%. After talking to the representative I decided to close the acount before they raise my rate again before notifing me. It appears that they are so desperate that they are raking there good customers over the coals, I have never been late on a payment and have always payed more than the minimum as a matter of fact I sent them $1000.00 in april 2009 because I was going to use the card to buy motorcycle parts. Can you help me get the word out to people to watch out for this because it can happen to any one.

Barclay spiritair mast. card are total thiefs. I applied to get a free membership to spiritair and 25000 points if I use it once a month. I never received the card, so, they charged me 39.95 for membership and the MA added late fees interest. Watch.

Turn on the news! Government is laredy making laws for credit card companies to follow. One is the interest rate. The other is the whole holding your check so the payment is late and then charging you deal! Its been on the news for 6 months now!
