I heard about Forest Grove's flag dedication today. I have been attempting to erect a tall American flag in Leavenworth, Washington for four years, but the CIty enacted three emergency moratoria preventing me from doing so until they finally enacted a fourth emergency ordinance permanently restricting me to erecting a flag larger than 6' x 10' on a pole 35'. Anyone wanting to erect a flag of any size must first obtain detailing engineering studies and a building permit. Full details at www.FoundationForLiberty.org/flag.htm

I understand the post. Basically the person is saying they can't get a flag up unless it meets approval which has been turned down 4 times now. Isn't that stupid that here in the USA you can only put up an american flag if it meets approval?

I like the giant flag in Forest Grove, it looks really cool. No offense, but, I also didn't understand the point of your post, and I'm not an idiot.

MY point would be how sad we are as a culture when the size of the flag is offensive, or that idiots cannot get that from this story.
