Weirdest Fish in Alaska Fishing Derby

My son Dale Johnston caught this rare "Rag Fish" off the coast of Juneau, Alaska, recently. The Rag Fish has no bones, only cartilage.

It's identity was confirmed by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

Dale is a resident of Juneau.

I grew up in Juneau fishing Salmon and Halibut and never caught anything like this! WOW Makes you wonder what else is out there?
