In a matter of minutes the winds from the June 4, 2009 Storm wreaked havoc upon our hazelnut orchard in Newberg, Oregon. These are just three of the many trees we lost. On top of losing quite a few trees, a large amount of limbs 6"-12" in diameter were lost. In one orchard alone, 4 trees were just snapped like matchsticks at close to the base.
