pink fishing pole

My wife and I went fishing down on the john day river near Clarno. She bought this pink pole a few weeks earlier she is holding that lights up as you reel in. I told her she would not catch anything on it. Well as you can see she proved me wrong by catching the biggest small mouth bass I have ever seen. It was almost six pounds and was twenty three and a half inches long. I smile about it everytime I see this picture.

Hmmm....figuring this bass is 1/2" shy of 2', this woman is 6' tall at the shoulders!
