Oregon's Major League Team in Marching Music.
70 members, ages 15 to 21 - handpicked brass, percussion and dance
performers from around the Northwest will be strutting their stuff on the field on Monday at Southridge High School. They've got the reigning world champion indoor
drumlin, rasing over $150,000 so far this year, and have already participated in
4 competitions this summer. They're ready to take off for their tour to the World
Championships in Indianapolis. But they can't go without raising $50,000.
Days are running short and counting till Monday.

Representing Portland and Oregon across the
country in the Drum Corps International World Championships (DCI) is a privilege, and they
expect to place in the top three in the world. But they need help to get there.

On Monday evening, July 20th, they will be having a Gala to raise the needed funds for
the group and to send "OC" off for their tour. Please attend and help them make the
trip. It will be held at Southridge High School in Beaverton beginning at 6:30.
Suggested minimum donation is $20. They expect a visit from
Portland Mayor Sam Adams and Beaverton Mayor Denny Doyle.

The Oregon
Crusaders will perform their final field performance in Portland before the competition.
Following the performance, if they have raised enough money to proceed, they'll be
packing up the charter buses and heading out.

They desperately need your help. They've created a world-class program with top level
design and instruction, and the skills instilled in members are skills that will last
them for life. This is an opportunity for you to support the growth of our young people
and create leaders in our community.
