Emma is not only the cutest cat in the whole, wide world, she's also the most amazing. Born on April 1, 2008, Emma is half Bengal breed, making her 1/8th Asian Leopard. True to her lineage, she can be a real wildcat at times. There hasn't been a dull moment since that June morning last year when I drove up to Woodland, Washington to adopt her. Emma got her name because of the perfect black "M" that marks her forehead. I often call her "Em" for short. She is fierce, persistent, intelligent, incredibly playful, affectionate, and hilarious. She makes me laugh out loud everyday. Often, as I head upstairs in my 144-year old Victorian house, I will discover her waiting for me at the top landing without ever seeing her pass me on my way up. It's as if she's some kind of phantom. Another thing she loves to do is climb to the top of my upper cupboards (via the counter and the refrigerator) and then play this juggling game with me. I throw up a washcloth and she catches it with her paws. As I throw a second washcloth, she drops the first one back down to me and catches the second. This juggling game often goes on and on.
Emma's Just Too Cute for Words!
