August 9th, fishing off the mouth of the Columbia River near the CR Buoy I hooked this 50 lb Chinook. The fish fought for close to 15 minutes and made two 100 yard runs before tiring out. This is an amazing fishery, so get out there and go fishing! Rick

Beautiful native fish! There's some sweet genetics at work in any salmon that tops 50 lbs these days.
