A slow start fall Chinook fishing trip on the Columbia River below the Lewis & Clark Bridge went from boring to fantastic for grandsons, Cooper and Colton, Saturday 8/29/2009.
Seven year old Cooper worked hard to reel in his 38 pound Chinook. Plans at this point called for relaxing for a few minutes, cleaning up and heading home. Plans changed as Colton’s rod began to bounce, and he reeled in his 25 pound Chinook.
Great day fishing with Grandpa!
