Microwave wildfire continues to smolder

MOSIER, Ore.-Smoke continues to billow from the smoldering Microwave Fire, a large wildfire between in the Columbia River Gorge between Hood River and Mosier.

The Historic Columbia River Highway Trail and the Mosier Twin Tunnels, mainly used by hikers, joggers and bicyclists, remains closed between Hood River and Mosier.

A westerly breeze blew through the Gorge on Monday afternoon.
