The landlord company will not fix up property, says if we don't like it move. says she has no money. 24 units times $730 = $17,520 a month, why can't we get things fixed. All units have 3 dimensional mold complete from one side of walls to other side of walls. Told by owner fix yourself. All 24 units in same condition. Floors fall in because of termites and boring beetles and carpenter ants. All bathrooms have mold and all floors weak. apartments are so bad that all are settling and floors and walls are either tilting or falling in. Insurance representtive saw personally because I showed him. Cannot get health department to help, housing authority will not help code enforcement will not do anything. Property is not kept up, will not replace broken items ie: stoves, dishwashers, windows or anything else that breaks, says you don't like it move. Given notice from city to cut down dead trees, offerd by tree cutter to do for $300 and was told she will only pay $100, tree is 40ft and next to building. property is grown over and trashy, will not pay over $35 for mowng and grounds upkeep, approx. 1 1/2 acres. Tennants required to keep up front yard but will not alowed to water. Tennants have been told that they cannot shower but 2 times a week because water bill is to high. We have tried to get help but no one will help at all. City will not help, and we have approx. 30 children below age of 13 who are sick and going to doctors all of the time. I am caregiver for a Mother, 90 yrs old and daughter with MS an Parkinsons and they are sick all time. We are moving in Nov to another home, my VA home loan is helping but need to get help to force these people to take responcibility for property and get these fixed. there is more than you can see here so am asking for your help to solve this slum lord problem. We all have right to live safe and not have such bad living conditions. All city and state department have excuses as to why they are not responcible and will not help, always refer to another department and hang up. I have been threatened by these departments that I will be reported to police for harrassment if I do no stop bothering them with this problem.

Now, they are suing us for over $1300. Some examples are ; repainting, soiling carpets, re-caulking bathrooms. Come on, we lived there over 5 years. I feel your pain .

Building inspectors came 2x a year and told them what needed to be fixed. Somehow it slipped through the cracks. 2x a year rent increases. Numerous certified letters, phone calls, and nothing was done. We couldn't take it anymore.

We just moved from the other side. I had the same problem. Black Mold, rotting floors, unusable bathrooms, back porch falling off, hole in fireplace sucked fire inside wall, heaters that shot out 2 foot flames.The list goes on.We lived there 5 years

landlord, I am 60 yrs old, 30 yr Retired MarineCorps and at the rank of E-8 1st sgt. I do know safety. I also have worked for OSHA, next laugh is on you. Love to take you to court and force you to live in the same conditions as this landlord does
