Wednesday Sept, 23 2009 at about 11:15 a.m. a man was driving on 39th NE Portland when his car caught fire at the corner of 39th & Laurelhurst Pl. He was able to escape unharmed and then the car exploded. Fire fighters and police arrived at the sceen quickly to extinguish the flames.
