While playing Farmville on Facebook today, I noticed one of the adds down the right hand side. It was an add for Mafia Wars. Mafia wars is a game on Facebook. Well, I thought the add was sending the wrong message. By allowing this type of stuff to reach the youth in our community, we are saying it's okay to use crime to solve your financial issues. This is the kind of stuff that influences our children to make bad choices.

Why would you let your children have a facebook account in the first place? Are you thick? And farmville promotes the murder of innocent animals! You're responsible for the genocide of MILLIONS!
Mr./Ms. What? really? no animal is harmed in the playing of farmville. In fact my farm has way too many animals because they don't die. I'm out of room on my farm and have to reject all the lost animals that wander onto my farm. Viva La Bacon!!!
Have you actually LOOKED at Mafia Wars? It's not like Farmville. There aren't pictures or anything cute that would attract a young kids interest. The kids who play the game are teenagers who should already know that murder and stealing are wrong.

I would have to respectfully disagree. I have played Mafia Wars and I really don't think there is any way to confuse the decisions you make on that game real life decisions especially considering how simple the game is.
