Similar Landslide in 1970

In 1970, there was a very similar, but smaller, landslide to the one that recently occurred near Naches, WA. It was termed a "slump" rather than a landslide, but also displaced a river and road. The river was the Yakima River in Kittitas County near Thorp, WA. The road was State Route 10. According to what I've been able to learn, the road was rebuilt over the debris field due to a lack of funds to remove it. The section of Google Maps that I've included marks the approximate location.
