Just north of Ecola Park (near Cannon Beach, OR),during a break in the weather, heavy surf and waves pounded the Tillamook Lighthouse during
high tide, November 6, 2009. These images were taken from the trail just south of Indian Beach,
overlooking the ocean from about 200 feet above the beach.

Images were taken with a Canon 1Ds Mark III,using a 800mm telephoto lens

Impressive! Could you imagine being in the lighthouse when those waves were hitting the rock?
