Several people were fishing off the north jetty at the entrance to Tillamook Bay, even though they had to move when the waves were crashing too close to them. Others were walking out on the jetty to get a good look at the storm. The Coast Guard finally closed the jetty and the parking lot to visitors before high tide to keep everyone safe from the wild ocean.

Can you believe it? People were fishing on the Tillamook Bay Bar's north jetty during the storm. The chunk you see in the air is blowing sea foam.
