Strange streak of light in Sky

At 7:15 PM on November 8th, 2009 I witnessed a streak of white/green light moving across the sky from south to north about 20 degrees above the horizon traveling at a slight down angle. The light was brightest at the head with a long tail. The light was visible for about 4 seconds. Unfortunately I wasn't prepared with a camera since I was just watching TV and saw it out of our western facing window. The posted image is a photo I foung that was the closest to what I saw. I live in Colton, Oregon.

I just saw the same thing tonight 11/9 at about 830-845 near the OR/WA border while on i-5 crossing the Columbia River....it was heading east to west and looked like a Meteor....anyone else see it?

I saw the same thing at just about the 40 degrees as well, it was going east to west but it was late. I checked my watch within a minute of seeing this light. It was 1:20 am on the morning of the 9th. it was very bright from my house in yacolt wa.

I saw the same light on my way home from work tonight. It was an impressive blue/green object. Maybe a meteor.
