Special Olympians compete

It is always an emotional and inspirational time when the Special Olympics athletes get together for track and field events.

The Southwest Region Spring Games took place at Kelso High School over the weekend. More than 900 athletes from 13 southwest Washington counties participated in the largest Special Olympics event in the state.
