On Thursday, May 3rd, the entire student body of Heppner High School, in Eastern Oregon, gave back to the community by spending the entire day weeding, digging, planting, landscaping, and much more. Nearly 40 projects were completed with all students, teachers and staff spending the day outside the classroom doing community service. The community has done so much to support the school, it was time for us to begin giving back. Senior citizens got their flowerbeds weeded and lawns mowed. The city got some landscaping projects done. Many much needed elbow grease projects got done. It was a great day for all who participated.
