My girlfriends and I were on our way back from the beach today and did not expect to run into police pointing guns at an RV on the interstate.
As we were driving northbound on I-5 a police car came accross the median from the southbound lane infront of us. The officer turned on his lights and stopped infront of us right in the middle of I-5. There were two other officers with their gun pointing at a RV on the side of the road. The third officer also pulled out his gun and pointed it at the RV. Within minutes there were about six more officers all around us also with their guns drawn.
It was so scary, we were right behind the officers. All we could think was if the guy in the RV starts shooting at the officers we could get shot. So we all ducked down in the truck.
When they finally got the man out of the RV they searched him and put him in a police car. He also had two dogs that the police had to get off the road before they opened the interstate. The dogs were very scared and barked at the officers. It didn't take long for them to get the dogs back in the RV. Then they opened I-5 back up and we were able to get home to our families.
We are all curious what happened.
