Got my first winter steelhead of the `09/`10 season yesterday. Broke in a new rod I got for my birthday on this chrome beauty. He hit a black jig on the Washougal river. Fishing is still a bit slow but I like to get one in December, just for the early confidence.

Beautiful fish, great shot of my favorite river for agate hunting. Don't get there often as I live in NC! My Dad learned to fish Steelhead from Boykin in Vancouver years ago. Both gone.
